Paper Floats ("we", "us") publishes puzzle and activity books for children and runs this website, paperfloats.com. This page explains what information we collect from visitors, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

The only personal information we collect directly is what you choose to give us:

• Email address — if you sign up for a mailing list on this site (for example, "Notify me" or "Claim your badge" forms), we collect the email address you enter.
• Emails you send us — if you contact hello@paperfloats.com directly, we'll have your email address and whatever you tell us in that message.

We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts on this site, and we don't collect any information automatically beyond standard web server logs kept by our hosting provider.

How we use it

We use the email addresses we collect to send you the updates you signed up for — new book releases, printable bonus content, and similar announcements. We don't sell or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where it's stored

This site is hosted on Netlify, and sign-up form submissions are processed and stored using Netlify's form-handling service. You can read Netlify's own privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.

Leaving our site

Some links on this site — including "Buy on Amazon" and "Buy the book" — take you to third-party sites (Amazon, Stripe) to complete a purchase. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them; we don't receive or store your payment details.

Children's privacy

Our books are made for children, but this website is intended to be used by parents, guardians and educators, not directly by children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and our mailing list sign-ups are intended for an adult's email address.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe option, or you can simply email hello@paperfloats.com and ask us to remove you.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
